Dr. Sigrid Wienhues appointed to Working Group on Administrative Law

During its 299th meeting held on November 16-17, 2011, the German Federal Bar (Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer), reappointed attorney Dr. Sigrid Wienhues to serve a four-year term in the Working Group on Administrative Law starting January 1, 2012.

The Working Group on Administrative Law is one of more than 30 working groups under the auspices of the Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer. The group of experts issues statements on ongoing legislative procedures affecting the public administration, including environmental, construction and planning issues; drafts expert opinions for the Steering Committee of the Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer; and serves as a dialogue partner for bar associations and administrative courts. Members of the working group serve four-year terms on a voluntary basis and frequently testify at ministry and parliamentary hearings.
