Insurance lawyer joins Graf von Westphalen

Graf von Westphalen's Cologne office is further expanding its liability and insurance law practice. Mike Weitzel (38), a Rechtsanwalt (Lawyer), joined the Team around the partners Prof. Dr. Tobias Lenz and Carsten Laschet at the beginning of November 2009.

Mr. Weitzel first moved to Graf von Westphalen as an associate from the insurance boutique Bach, Langheid & Dallmayr. The 38 year old lawyer, an accredited specialist (Fachwanwalt) in insurance law, specialises in advising on liability and insurance cover in cases of national and international claims. "With his expertise, Mike Weitzel should particularly strengthen the practice area of product liability insurance and business liability insurance law", said Tobias Lenz, who is also the Head of Graf von Westphalen's relevant practice group. Liability and insurance law, particularly product liability and D&O business, has been continually developing into a mainstay of the Firm in recent years.
