Graf von Westphalen elects a new Management
The partners of Graf von Westphalen elected a new Management Team for the coming two years at their partners' meeting held in Freiburg on 6 November 2009.
The new Managing Partners are Christof Kleinmann (43) and Dr. Robert Theissen (41), the members of the Board of Partners are Sven Köhnen, Dr. Barbara Mayer, Dr. Matthias Menke, Dr. Ronald Steiling (Chairman) and Ulrich Stuhlfelner.
Christof Kleinmann is an accredited specialist (Fachanwalt) in employment law in the Frankfurt office, Dr. Robert Theissen is an accredited specialist (Fachanwalt) in construction law and the law governing architects and practices in the field of construction law and project development in Hamburg. Both will continue with client work in addition to carrying out their management responsibilities.
Dr. Robert Theissen said,
"The new management's strategic objective is particularly to increase the Firm's earning power especially by further integrating the Firm's offices."
Christof Kleinmann said,
"We will push ahead with expanding the Firm into an integrated full-service law firm. Both nationally and internationally, we will further consolidate our position as one of "the" large, German independent law firms."
The old and the new Chairman of the Board of Partners, Dr. Ronald Steiling, thanked the former management at the partners' meeting:
"The Firm has developed very rapidly in recent years and we have achieved a lot. Not least, we owe this to our former Management Team Dr. Carsten Bittner and Dr. Barbara Mayer. Both have shown a great deal of commitment particularly in pressing ahead with developing the practice groups. Their success is demonstrated by the fact that 2009 will economically be the Firm's most successful year."
