Graf von Westphalen advises Wüstenbecker GmbH & Co. KG on the disposal of approx. 33% of the listed company BCA AG to four insurance companies.
Barmenia Krankenversicherung a. G., VOLKSWOHL BUND LEBENSVERSICHERUNG a. G., Stuttgarter Versicherung Holding AG and SIGNAL IDUNA Holding AG each acquired 8.33 per cent of the shares in BCA AG. The seller was particularly the former majority shareholder, Wüstenbecker GmbH & Co. KG. In addition the nominal capital of BCA AG was increased by approx. 1.1 million euros to approx. 4.7 million euros. The Federal Cartel Office has already given its clearance to the concentration.
BCA AG of Bad Hamburg, with more than 10,000 partners and managed assets of more than 4.2 billion euros in investment funds, approximately 50,000 insurance applications processed and a commission turnover of 65 million euros in the year 2008, is the market leader amongst broker pools in Germany.
