The Munich office of the national and international law firm Graf von Westphalen has moved to Maximiliansplatz. The new office space is on the 4th and 5th floors of the Luitpoldblock. The new office has a total area of approximately 1,400 m². Graf von Westphalen has moved into the new office space with 35 members of staff, of whom 19 are lawyers.

The Luitpoldblock was built in 1812 by Joseph von Utzschneider. A four-storey main wing, the layout of which has hardly changed to this very day, was built in the early Classical style. In 1886 to 1887 the architect Otto Lasne converted the structure into a solemn neo-Renaissance building. The Luitpoldblock is also well known because of the Café Luitpold, which was Europe's largest palace café from 1888 until 1994 with a whole series of rooms comprising halls, foyers and corridors.

Christoph J. Hauptvogel, the Office Coordinator of the Munich office said, "By moving into the Luitpoldblock we have moved into beautiful, centrally located and exclusively appointed premises. That was urgently needed in order to accommodate the Munich team, which has grown strongly, and to provide sufficient room for further growth. We are all very pleased with our new workplace."
The office's main areas of practice are employment law, company law, M&A, private equity, property and construction, procurement and commercial law.
