Another real estate investment: Joachim-Herz Foundation gets stake in IntReal with GvW Graf von Westphalen

The Joachim Herz Foundation is a new partner in Immo-Service-KVG IntReal (IntReal). The Hamburg Foundation has acquired a 49 percent stake in the company; Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate remains the majority partner. After the entry of Joachim Herz Foundation, IntReal now has a second investor on board which will be involved in the long-term in the growth policy of the company. IntReal has 235 employees and is a leader in the German market in the institutional real estate fund business. As a service KVG, the company headquartered in Hamburg focuses exclusively on setting up and managing regulated real estate funds for third parties in accordance with the German Investment Act (KAGB). IntReal manages 125 funds through a large number of external fund partners with a total investment volume of around 22.4 billion Euro.

The Joachim Herz Foundation realizes its charitable purposes especially in national and international projects in the fields of personal development, natural sciences and the economy. The Foundation first became involved in the German real estate market at the beginning of the year 2017 when it joined in Competo Capital Partners GmbH (more). The Foundation overall has assets of around 1.3 billion Euro.
