Four new associate partners: GvW Graf von Westphalen has organic growth

GvW Graf von Westphalen welcomes four Hamburg attorneys, Dr. Hartmut Henninger, Corinna Lindau, LL.M., Johan van der Veer, LL.M., as well as Dr. Andreas Wolowski, LL.M., as new associate partners.

Dr. Hartmut Henninger is a member of the well-known customs and foreign trade practice at the law firm. His work as an attorney is focused on the law of export controls and customs law. He is also specialized on issues of value added tax in international trade. The 36 year old attorney regularly gives presentations and seminars and comments on the law on the origin of goods in a leading commentary on customs law. The graduate of Bucerius Law School has also been involved for several years as a judge at the Philip C. Jessup Moot Court.

Corinna Lindau , LL.M. works primarily in the field of environmental and planning law. She was recently in several mandates for the state construction and traffic authority for which GvW achieved success before the German Federal Administrative Court [Bundesverwaltungsgericht] in proceedings relating to the A20 Elbe tunnel in April 2016 (more). In addition to planning law, she specializes above all on issues of the law protecting against Immissions.

Johan van der Veer, LL.M. is a certified specialist in insurance law and specializes in that field. As a result of his experience at the chair for insurance law the University of Hamburg and as a result of a secondment to a leading German insurance company, the 37 year old attorney successfully developed the insurance law practice for GvW. His clients include insurance companies as well as insured companies.

As a member of the Public Law Practice group, Dr. Andreas Wolowski, LL.M. is especially active in issues of public development law. His focus is on development projects in which the firms recognized public law practice and construction and real estate team work together. In addition, the specialist for administrative law acts on behalf of companies, public authorities and private persons in the law involving contributions and fees as well as environmental law and regularly gives presentations and seminars, including for the German Association of Free Real Estate and Presidential Companies (Bundesverband Freier Immobilien- und Wohnungsunternehmen e.V. “BFW”) and the vhw – Federal Association for Residential Urban Development (Bundesverband für Wohnen und Stadtentwicklung e.V.)
