A company in the Canadian Granite Group has sold the commercial park Markgröningen to Sirius Real Estate Ltd. GvW Graf von Westphalen provided legal advice to the Canadian real estate investor in this transaction through Dr. Bettina Schmitt-Rady (Lead Real Estate Department, Frankfurt a.M.).
The commercial property in the Stuttgart region included several building complexes and real property having an area of approx. 60,000 m2. The main tenant is Trans-Logo-Tech GmbH, which has specialized over the long term at the location in the production of industrial carpeting as well as various components for the automobile industry. Other commercial tenants are supposed to move into the complex.
GvW Graf von Westphalen advised the transmission system operator 50Hertz on the award of a major contract for the North Sea Connector 2 offshore grid connection project. The project involves the planning, construction, installation and commissioning of a converter system comprising an offshore converter platform in the North Sea and an onshore converter station in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The North Sea Connector 2 project is intended to connect offshore wind farms in the North Sea to the German electricity grid in future.
