GvW Graf von Westphalen promotes five new partners from the own ranks

The law firm GvW Graf von Westphalen again lives up to its policy of growing with partners from the own ranks. The partners elected at the partner meeting Dr. Sven Donner, Lutz-Leonard Lamprecht and Dr. Christian Triebe as new equity partners from the own ranks effective as of 1 January 2019.

Dr Sven Donner has belonged to the GvW practice group Real Estate & Construction since the year 2012. This partner in the Berlin office specializes in legal advice during construction of large projects as well as real estate transactions. The Berlin native has also successfully passed the exam as a notary and is supposed to be appointed as a notary in the near future. Dr. Donner will then be the third notary in the Berlin office.

Lutz-Leonard Lamprecht is also a member of the real estate practice group. Mr. Lamprecht began as an associate in the Hamburg office in the year 2011. The main area of Mr. Lamprecht's practice lies in asset management. He acts here above all in providing long-term advice for large real estate holding companies in leasing out and managing office and retail space and the related remodeling of buildings. Mr. Lamprecht also advises his clients in the purchase and sale of properties.  

Dr Christian Triebe has worked as an attorney in the Firm's Hamburg office since 2009. As a member of the IP, IT and Media practice group, he provides comprehensive advice to companies on copyright law, also in fundamental proceedings on questions of digitalization which are relevant for the industry, as well as on competition law, including the protection of knowhow. Dr. Triebe is qualified as a specialist for intellectual property and for copyright and media law and regularly publishes articles on these subjects.

The senior associates Marius Bodenstedt (employment law) and Dr Katja Göcke (customs and foreign trade law) who both started their careers as attorneys at GvW have also been appointed as new Associate Partners.

Marius Bodenstedt is qualified as a specialist for employment law at GvW in Hamburg. He advises companies as well as public agencies in all questions of individual and collective employment law, including data protection for employees and the law on providing temporary employees.

Dr Katja Göcke advises and represents companies in customs law, export control and sanctions law, EU market organization law as well as consumer and value added tax law.
