GvW has been named Law Firm of the Year for Real Estate and Construction Law at this year's JUVE Awards. Dr. Robert Theissen, partner at GvW in private construction law, accepted the prestigious trophy yesterday evening at the Alte Oper in Frankfurt on behalf of the 36-strong team.

The law firm GvW Graf von Westphalen continues to grow from the own ranks. Effective as of 1 January 2020, Karsten Kujath, Felix Wolf and Dr. Andreas Wolowski were named equity partners.

Wyndham Worldwide Corporation has sold its European vactation home business to Platinum Equity, LLC. The transaction with a sales volume of 1.3 billion US dollars has now been successfully closed. GvW Graf von Westphalen advised the American hotel group with regard to German law.

The KARL Group has sold the Mainpark Flörsheim to an international, institutional investor. The property in the so-called Mainpark has an area of approximately 135,000 m² and lettable space of around 75,000 m². A large section is developed with warehouse space that is under long-term leases.
