Transport & logistics in the automotive sector

Logistical processing, particularly in the form of transport and storage, are sometimes the most critical aspects alongside production. Both the incoming preliminary products and raw materials and the outgoing end products must arrive undamaged and on time. This requires the drafting of a wide range of contracts for different transport media and risk analyses, depending on the individual service descriptions that the respective service provider has to implement as precisely as possible. In the case of large manufacturers, this can even extend to intralogistics if third parties are already involved within the production processes in order to map certain preliminary work. However, it also includes the storage conditions for production as well as spare parts and finished products, the latter in particular with the corresponding care and maintenance requirements. We also represent you before courts or arbitration tribunals if lasting damage has occurred despite all precautions.

GvW has lawyers who have been representing OEM manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers as well as large parts dealers, both in conventional distribution and in e-commerce, for many years. In this respect, we know the market and follow its development in terms of the performance of individual suppliers, price trends and other risks as well as technical developments.
