GfK leases 38,000 m² for the new headquarters in Nuremberg

The worldwide market research company GfK in Nuremberg has concluded a lease agreement for its new headquarters in Nuremberg. The company is now able to combine its locations distributed throughout the city at one location in a new building complex build for the company at the location "Am Kohlenhof". The contract partner of GfK is a joint venture company involving Aurelis Real Estate GmbH & Co. KG, Pegasus Capital Partners GmbH and Art-Invest Real Estate. The three real estate and investment companies entered into a joint venture for the planning, development and realization.

The long-term lease agreement provides for three connected office buildings having a total space for GfK of around 38,000 square meters. According to the current planning by the internationally active architect office KSP Jürgen Engel in Munich, the buildings will have up to five floors. There is also a separate parking structure. The beginning of construction is intended for 2018. GfK is supposed to move in starting at the end of 2019.

GfK was advised by GvW attorneys Thomas Schroiff, David Wende (both partners, Real Estate), Dr. Frank Tschesche and Lars Leskovar (both Tax).
