GvW Graf von Westphalen advises Dutch A.Hak Group on sale of Reinhard Rohrbau GmbH to DING

GvW Graf von Westphalen has advised the Dutch A.Hak group on the sale of Reinhard Rohrbau GmbH to Deutsche Infrastruktur- und Netzgesellschaft mbH (DING). 

Reinhard Rohrbau GmbH, based in Meppen, is a regionally leading pipeline construction specialist with a focus on all services related to the laying of energy and telecommunication networks. The company concentrates on underground pipeline construction and cable laying as well as industrial pipeline and plant construction. Its customers include regional energy suppliers and water associations as well as international groups from the energy and telecommunications industry. In 2019, the company generated sales of approx. EUR 20m with around 110 employees.

The Dutch A.Hak Group with its headquarters in Tricht (Netherlands) provides solutions for underground infrastructure and related above-ground installations. With offices in Europe and throughout the Middle East, the A.Hak Group, which has a history of more than 50 years, has become a leading global operating specialist for major pipeline and tubing construction projects. 

For DING, a portfolio company of Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG), the add-on acquisition of Reinhard Rohrbau GmbH expands its regional presence and strengthens its service portfolio, in particular in the area of pipeline construction. DBAG plans to become a national market leader in the field of telecommunication and pipeline network construction.
