“Investing in Germany – Hamburg your Gateway for your business success in Europe“. This is the motto of a roadshow organized by the City of Hamburg which takes place from 7 to 16 September in Central and South China and sets out to promote Chinese company formations in Hamburg. GvW lawyers from Hamburg and Shanghai will escort the “HWF-Roadshow Central and South China 2013” in order to explain to Chinese investors the legal framework and challenges related to direct investments in Germany.
On 8, 10, 11 and 13 September 2013 the roadshow stops off in the Chinese metropolitan cities Xiamen, Fuzhou, Chengdu and Shenzhen. Chinese entrepreneurs can get information on the possibilities and opportunities of investments in Germany and in particular in the Hamburg area.
Hamburg-based partner Dr. Dominik Ziegenhahn will give presentations on market entry in Germany and will evaluate the models mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and green field investments. GvW associate Cuifang Wang will hold a panel discussion after each presentation in which representatives of the various roadshow participants can discuss typical challenges that Chinese entrepreneurs face in cross-border investments. The discussion will be held in Chinese, and Shanghai-based GvW partner Patrick Heid will share his experience with Chinese M&A transactions in Europe.
