Change in judges at the Bavarian Attorneys Disciplinary Court: GvW partner Christian Fuhst new honorary judge

In response to the proposal of the bar association in Munich, the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice appointed today the Munich GvW partner Christian Fuhst as an honorary judge at the Bavarian Disciplinary Court in Munich (Bayerischer Anwaltsgerichtshof “BayAGH”).

The BayAGH conducts hearings at the Court of Appeals in Munich and is the appellate instance for all Bavaria for proceedings involving violations against professional rules for attorneys.  In addition, the five departments which each consist of a base of two professional judges and three practicing attorneys decides in the first instance about matters involving attorneys under administrative law.

Christian Fuhst is an attorney at GvW Graf von Westphalen and practices as an insolvency administrator in Graf von Westphalen Insolvency Administration and Recoveries in Munich.  After being admitted to the bar in the year 2004, Mr. Fuhst, who comes from Hanover, specialized early in providing legal advice in the area of insolvency law.  Christian Fuhst has been appointed as an insolvency administrator by many Bavarian courts since the beginning of 2009.
