GvW is JUVE Law Firm of the Year for Real Estate and Construction Law
GvW has been named Law Firm of the Year for Real Estate and Construction Law at this year's JUVE Awards. Dr. Robert Theissen, partner at GvW in private construction law, accepted the prestigious trophy yesterday evening at the Alte Oper in Frankfurt on behalf of the 36-strong team.
Winning the JUVE Awards underlines the firm's outstanding expertise and dynamic development. "The law firm's new flagship discipline is plant construction," the laudatory speech said. "It has long been supporting Preussen Elektra in the dismantling of nuclear power plants. Advising Amprion on route construction is the next dimension. By consistently using digital tools, GvW can efficiently manage such major projects." The editorial team of JUVE emphasizes the firm's particular expertise in solving "projects of this magnitude according to the cooperative contract model". Projects such as NeuConnect also show that GvW "can also get involved at an international level."
"We are overwhelmed and proud of this recognition. It reflects the great commitment of our entire team," commented GvW's Private Construction Law Practice Group Leader Dr. Thomas Senff on winning the JUVE Awards 2023. "Our thanks also go to our clients, some of whom we have been supporting with their projects for a very long time."
In addition, GvW has achieved a remarkable performance with its two further nominations as Law Firm of the Year in the areas of M&A and Technology and Media. These awards place the firm among the five law firms that have developed particularly positively in their discipline over the past twelve months. GvW had already been named JUVE Law Firm of the Year for Customs and Excise in June (more).
"We would like to congratulate our teams on this great success," said Christof Kleinmann and Dr. Robert Theissen, both Managing Partners of the law firm. "We celebrated yesterday at the Alte Oper - and we will continue this with all employees at our GvW 75 celebration in November."

Transport System Bögl: new local public passenger transport system a big success in China
The Max Bögl group of companies has developed a new local public passenger transport system. The system called “Transport System Bögl” (TSB) uses magnetic levitation, or “maglev” technology and provides a clean and cost-efficient means of transport for better mobility in inner city areas. The technology is becoming increasingly popular also in other countries: Max Bögl’s most recent export order was the sale of its TSB to China. The company’s plans include building a 3.5 km test track in Chengdu and extensive marketing activities to promote the technology in China – all through a sales partnership with a Chinese company.
