In Germany, we have been one of the leading law firms for M&A transactions for many years, whether on the seller or buyer side, in auctions or in negotiations with only one party. Defence and security has traditionally been a key focus area for our team. Most of our aerospace deals have a clear connection to this sector.

Our M&A team handles a large number of cross-border and domestic transactions each year, including merger control and foreign trade law approvals. We not only provide support with structuring (e.g. share deals, asset deals, prior carve-outs, etc.), but also with setting up and accompanying the transaction process itself (including the coordination of international law firms). Internationally, we can draw on several networks and, in addition, often on relationships with other law firms that have grown over decades, enabling us to flexibly find the right set-up for each specific case.
