GvW has been named Law Firm of the Year for Real Estate and Construction Law at this year's JUVE Awards. Dr. Robert Theissen, partner at GvW in private construction law, accepted the prestigious trophy yesterday evening at the Alte Oper in Frankfurt on behalf of the 36-strong team.

ÄHF Immobilienfonds GbR has sold Ärztehaus Friedrichshain to the Canadian NorthWest Healthcare Properties REIT. In terms of deal volume, the transaction is one of the largest deals in the asset class of ambulant health centres in Germany. GvW Graf von Westphalen provided legal advice on the sale and liquidation of the fund.

Wyndham Worldwide Corporation has sold its European vactation home business to Platinum Equity, LLC. The transaction with a sales volume of 1.3 billion US dollars has now been successfully closed. GvW Graf von Westphalen advised the American hotel group with regard to German law.
