GvW further expands employment practice and strengthens team with Thomas G.-E. Müller in Munich
The law firm GvW Graf von Westphalen is further expanding its employment law practice in Munich. On 1 November Thomas G.-E. Müller joined the firm as equity partner. He will be joined by associate partner Andreas Kössel and Dr Sophie Holdschik as associate and Daniela Jäger as assistant.
Thomas G.-E. Müller and his team advise medium-sized companies, groups and associations on all aspects of employment law. The team has gained a particular reputation for advising on the interface between labour law and social security law in clarifying the incorrect use of external staff. With the "HRProServices", the team offers classic HR department tasks as an extended workbench in addition to advice. In addition, Mr Müller represents companies, executive boards and managers in strategic individual employment law disputes.
Dr. Philipp Wiesenecker, head of the employment law practice group at GvW, is very pleased about the reinforcement at the Munich office: "With Thomas G.-E. Müller, we are gaining a partner in employment law who is well-known in the market for the Munich office. Together with Christoph Hauptvogel and Denise Waelde, we now have a team size that enables us to offer constant and comprehensive advice to employers in the Munich economic area across the entire spectrum of employment law. In addition, Mr Müller brings with him innovative advisory products that fit perfectly into the strategy of our comprehensive advice to small and medium-sized businesses and can also be further developed digitally with GvW e-tools."
The employment law team at GvW has grown strongly in recent years, particularly at the Frankfurt office. With 20 lawyers now, the team strength has more than doubled in the last five years.
"GvW has developed excellently as a law firm and enjoys a very good reputation in the market", explains Thomas G.-E. Müller. "I particularly appreciate the down-to-earth nature of the colleagues, the very good cooperation and the innovative strength of the firm. This impression was reinforced after my rounds of interviews at all offices."
