Dr Annika Bleier

Dr Annika Bleier is a lawyer specialising in constitutional law and human rights and has been Head of ESG & Sustainability at GvW since 2022. She completed her dissertation in international human rights protection in the context of ‘Business and Human Rights’ and, as part of her training, spent several months at the United Nations in Geneva and New York. She is now responsible for and helps shape not only the firm's internal sustainability strategy, but also strategically drives the business development of the ESG consulting practice and advises on green trade issues. She is a member of the DAV Human Rights Committee, the Schmalenbach Gesellschaft's Business Ethics Working Group and the Advisory Board of the US NGO FASPE, which promotes ethical corporate governance.
