GvW promotes Corinna Lindau and Dr Hartmut Henninger to Equity Partners
GvW Graf von Westphalen has just promoted Corinna Lindau and Dr Hartmut Henninger to Equity Partners effective 1 January 2021. Both have grown their entire career within the firm and have now become the latest experts to join the firm’s equity partnership.
Corinna Lindau is a specialist in administrative law in the Public Law practice group at our Hamburg office. Ms Lindau’s work focuses on environment and planning law, including advising both businesses and public authorities on permit and plan approval procedures. She is originally from Hamburg and was part of a team of ten lawyers that just recently won a case establishing the right for the Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link to be built. Moreover, Ms Lindau has been committed to the training of legal clerks in Hamburg for many years.
Dr Hartmut Henninger is also based at our Hamburg office and specialises in advising businesses on customs and international trade law. In addition to his export control, sanctions and customs work, Dr Henninger’s VAT law expertise makes him an important addition to our Customs and International Trade Law team, which currently counts ten specialists. Another important field of interest for him is international law; he has acted many times as judge in the Jessup Moot Court competition, which counts GvW among its supporters.
In addition, Dr Michael Engel, Stefan Glock, Anton Kastenmüller and Wolf Müller have been appointed Associate Partners:
Dr Michael Engel is a lawyer and tax advisor at GvW’s Frankfurt office focusing on transaction and corporate tax law advice and on tax-efficient structuring of business and asset succession.
The practice of lawyer Stefan Glock from our Hamburg office focuses on the defence of white collar/corporate crime and criminal tax cases as well as providing criminal law advice and representation to business and individuals.
Anton Kastenmüller is a specialist in employment law based in Munich and advises the management and HR teams of German and international SMEs on individual and collective employment law matters.
Wolf Müller, who handles the training of legal clerks at our Hamburg office together with Corinna Lindau, places the focus of his legal and teaching work on technology law, including all matters relating to product liability and product safety.

Transport System Bögl: new local public passenger transport system a big success in China
The Max Bögl group of companies has developed a new local public passenger transport system. The system called “Transport System Bögl” (TSB) uses magnetic levitation, or “maglev” technology and provides a clean and cost-efficient means of transport for better mobility in inner city areas. The technology is becoming increasingly popular also in other countries: Max Bögl’s most recent export order was the sale of its TSB to China. The company’s plans include building a 3.5 km test track in Chengdu and extensive marketing activities to promote the technology in China – all through a sales partnership with a Chinese company.
