The investment company Elvaston has acquired the HR software specialist Infoniqa. The sellers in this transaction are the financial investor Cornerstone Capital, Infoniqa Holding GmbH and the management. GvW Graf von Westphalen represented the sellers in this transaction. The Parties agreed to keep the amount of the transaction volume confidential.
As a specialist for HR software and services, the Infoniqa Group provides solutions for human resources management, personnel accounting, time management and outsourcing. The company services more than 2,800 clients with more than 1.5 million employees from its nine locations in German, Austria and Switzerland.
GvW acted on behalf of the Sellers through the team under the leadership of the partner Dr Markus Sachslehner (M&A, Private Equity) consisting of Dr Ritesh Rajani, Dr Daniel Komo (both M&A), Dr Frank Tschesche, Dr Michael Engel (both tax law) and Stephan Menzemer (IT). The M&A practice group head Dr. Markus Sachslehner has advised CornerstoneCapital for many years in acquiring and selling participations.
GvW Graf von Westphalen advised the transmission system operator 50Hertz on the award of a major contract for the North Sea Connector 2 offshore grid connection project. The project involves the planning, construction, installation and commissioning of a converter system comprising an offshore converter platform in the North Sea and an onshore converter station in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The North Sea Connector 2 project is intended to connect offshore wind farms in the North Sea to the German electricity grid in future.
GvW Graf von Westphalen has advised Primepulse and Vsquared Ventures on the Series C financing round of NEURA Robotics GmbH. The transaction ranks among the largest venture financing rounds in the European startup ecosystem to date.
