Foreign trade law, sanctions law and plant construction: the law firm GvW Graf von Westphalen has achieved three Tier 1 rankings in the Legal 500 Germany handbook for the first time this year. In addition, it is represented in more top lists than ever before with a total of 22 specialist areas.

GvW Graf von Westphalen has strengthened its IT law practice with a prominent figure: By 1 January 2014, Buse Heberer Fromm founding partner Stephan Menzemer will join GvW’s Frankfurt office as equity partner.

From 01.10.2012 GvW's team will be strengthened by Dr Joachim Mulch. Mulch is moving from Noerr and will be a partner at the new Düsseldorf office. His appointment means that the IP/IT practice will be represented at all German offices.

Graf von Westphalen acted as legal counsel to the majority shareholder of Interturbine Projekt Management GmbH in the sale of the entire Interturbine Group to the NASDAQ-listed company B/E Aerospace (GS: BEAV).
