GvW Graf von Westphalen supports Cycas Hospitality in entering the market in Germany

Cycas Hospitality is continuing its European expansion in Germany. The international hotel management company is the new operator of the extended stay Element Frankfurt Hotel at the airport. Element is a brand in the Marriot Group.

GvW Graf von Westphalen, under the leadership of the partner Dr. Christian Zerr (Hospitality & Real Estate) with a team consisting of Felix Wolf (corporate law), Christoph Hauptvogel (employment law) and Peter Rieger (Hospitality & Real Estate, all in Munich), advised Cycas Hospitality in this first hotel project in Germany.

The company's portfolio includes 23 hotels which Cycas Hospitality operates or which are currently still being developed. The extended stay specialist has already expanded strongly in Europe with nine investments in the last year. 4,000 rooms in Germany and 10,000 rooms in Europe are planned by the year 2022.

Cycas Hospitality is yet a further international hotel operator that has become a client of GvW. The law firm has supported all market participants in the hotel industry for many years, especially in negotiating operator contracts and transactions, acquisitions of businesses and financing issues as well as operational matters.
