GvW Advises the Shareholder of ABC Economics on the Sale to Kroll

GvW Graf von Westphalen advised the shareholder of ABC Economics on the sale of the company to the global consulting firm Kroll. Through this acquisition, Kroll further expands its international capabilities in economic analysis and competition economics, while strengthening its offering for complex transactions, regulatory proceedings, and litigation and arbitration matters.

ABC Economics, headquartered in Berlin, was founded in 2020 by the renowned economist Professor Dr. Frank Maier-Rigaud. The firm specializes in economic and econometric consulting in matters relating to competition law, regulation, and broader business law issues. Its services include advising clients on merger control proceedings, cartel and abuse of dominance investigations, damages quantification, state aid matters, as well as arbitration and court proceedings.

Kroll is a leading independent provider of financial and risk advisory services. The company employs more than 6,500 professionals worldwide and supports corporations, financial investors, and public institutions, particularly in the areas of valuation, transactions, governance, and risk management.
