GvW Graf von Westphalen advised the Austrian K industries Group on the acquisition of the LOHSE Group as part of an asset deal.
K industries, headquartered in St. Andrä in Carinthia, is a family-run industrial group specialising in plant engineering and industrial services. The company, which offers engineering, manufacturing and installation from a single source, operates in sectors including paper and pulp, chemicals, environmental technology, food and energy.
MARTIN LOHSE GmbH, founded in 1908 and based in Heidenheim an der Brenz, specialises in the development and manufacture of industrial valves made from steel and stainless steel. In January 2026, insolvency proceedings under self-administration were opened for the group companies of this long-established firm. With K industries, the LOHSE Group now gains a strategic industrial partner that complements its product and technological expertise with its own engineering, manufacturing and sales capabilities.
