Best Lawyers 2027: GvW receives 255 recommendations
GvW Graf von Westphalen has once again impressed in the Best Lawyers rankings: with a total of 255 recommendations across 147 lawyers, the firm has achieved a new record. In the “Best Lawyers” rankings, 105 lawyers received 197 recommendations. A further 42 junior lawyers received 58 recommendations in the ‘Ones to Watch’ category. Dr Kristofer Bott and Christian D. Esch are ‘Lawyers of the Year’.

GvW Graf von Westphalen advised the transmission system operator 50Hertz on the award of a major contract for the North Sea Connector 2 offshore grid connection project. The project involves the planning, construction, installation and commissioning of a converter system comprising an offshore converter platform in the North Sea and an onshore converter station in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The North Sea Connector 2 project is intended to connect offshore wind farms in the North Sea to the German electricity grid in future.
