GvW advised Parkdepot on Series A financing round
Munich-based Parkdepot has raised €15 million in a Series A financing round with SURPLUS Equity Partners und Armira Growth as well as existing investor henQ. The company intends to use the fresh capital for the international expansion and further development of its products.
Parkdepot is a tech company specializing in integrated solutions for barrier- and ticketless parking management in Europe. Founded in Munich in 2019, the company already has ca. 200 employees in six countries. Parkdepot develops individual solutions for automated parking management based on imaging technology with artificial intelligence (AI) and digitizes the entire parking process, from registration of license plates to billing.
Titus Walek and Jan Hüniken (both venture capital) advised Parkdepot on this financing round. The team already supported the company on the seed financing round (more).

GvW Graf von Westphalen advised the transmission system operator 50Hertz on the award of a major contract for the North Sea Connector 2 offshore grid connection project. The project involves the planning, construction, installation and commissioning of a converter system comprising an offshore converter platform in the North Sea and an onshore converter station in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The North Sea Connector 2 project is intended to connect offshore wind farms in the North Sea to the German electricity grid in future.
