GvW Graf von Westphalen assists H-Hotels in a new hotel project in the Borussia Park

The participant in the UEFA Champions League, Borussia Mönchengladbach, and H-Hotels AG are starting a joint hotel project.  Punctually at the start of the 2018/2019 season of the German Football League, a H+ Hotel is supposed to be opened in the Borussia Park.  The hotel investor is Borussia VfL 1900 Mönchengladbach GmbH, and the operator is the GvW client H-Hotels AG.

The hotel is supposed to involve an investment of around EUR 30 million and will have, in addition to 132 rooms (including 6 suites), also a business lounge and a large fitness area.  The synergies between the two partner companies will also include the joint use of the food services and event space.  The new construction is planned to start at the beginning of 2017.

H-Hotels AG which is headquartered in Bad Arolsen in the State of Hessen and has locations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, is one of the largest hotel operators in Germany.  The family led group of companies has more than 3,000 employees and has more than 9,600 rooms in hotels under the own brands H4 Hotels, H2 Hotels, H+ Hotels and Treff Hotels.  H-Hotels AG also manages hotels under the RAMADA brand as a development partner for the American Wyndham Group.

GvW acted on behalf of H-Hotels under the leadership of the Berlin partner Dr. Ulrich Schroeder in the drafting, negotiation and conclusion of the hotel lease agreement.
