GvW advises T.A. Cook on sale of com­pany to Accen­ture

GvW Graf von Westphalen advised T.A. Cook and its shareholders on the successful sale of the company to Accenture.

T.A. Cook is headquartered in Berlin and has additional offices in Canada, Hong Kong and in the United States and provides services in maintenance, operations and asset life cycle management of manufacturing plants and technology. The company’s 130-strong team of consultants advises clients on investments in this kind of infrastructure to increase capacity and reduce emissions and costs.

With this acquisition, global consultancy giant Accenture strengthens its Industry X portfolio to improve asset performance and safety in the chemicals, metals and mining, pharmaceuticals and oil and gas industries. Accenture Industry X offers intelligent solutions for the construction and operation of factories and plants as well as for the design and development of connected products and services.

GvW’s team advising T.A. Cook on this transaction was headed by Dr Markus Sachslehner (M&A) and consisting of Jan Hüniken, Christopher Serke, Benjamin Schwarzfischer, Dr Volker Schwarz (all M&A), Dr Michael Engel (Tax Law), Christian Kusulis (Competition Law), Dr Christian Triebe (IP), Arnd Böken, Sven-Erik Holm, Dr Michael Herold (IT/Data Protection) and Lutz Leonard Lamprecht (Real Estate Law).
