One more aviation deal: FL Technics launches a new business line with GvW
GvW Graf von Westphalen has advised FL Technics on the acquisition of Hanover-based wheels and brakes business.
With the acquisition, FL Technics is launching the wheels and brakes business as a new business line. FL Technics, a global independent group providing full scope aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, is offering the largest independent line maintenance network with more than 70 stations in service worldwide. Headquartered in Lithuania, the group unites 1200 professionals worldwide.

GvW Graf von Westphalen advised the transmission system operator 50Hertz on the award of a major contract for the North Sea Connector 2 offshore grid connection project. The project involves the planning, construction, installation and commissioning of a converter system comprising an offshore converter platform in the North Sea and an onshore converter station in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The North Sea Connector 2 project is intended to connect offshore wind farms in the North Sea to the German electricity grid in future.
