Scienta Scientific AB acquires ENVINET GmbH with advice from GvW

GvW Graf von Westphalen advised Scienta Scientific AB of Uppsala, Sweden, on its acquisition of the German company ENVINET GmbH.

ENVINET is based in Munich and is the leading manufacturer of environmental radiation monitoring networks. With 35 years of experience in this field, the company now operates in over 70 countries worldwide. The purpose of EVINET networks is to ensure protection of the general population from ionising radiation both from natural sources and from radiological hazards.

Through its Scienta Sensor Systems division, Scienta Scientific is already active in the market for early warning systems for radioactive incidents. Following its merger with ENVINET and the addition of area monitoring strengths of the German target, Scienta Scientific will now launch a new brand of full-range network solutions for radiation protection under the name Scienta Envinet.
